Altering people’s behaviour is always challenging. It is no secret that the human race is always striving to make life easier and more comfortable, however we do know that this can often be at the expense of important values and truths – especially our environment.
Junior School boys, staff and families have really embraced many sustainable ideas during 2008. This is all part of our four-year plan developed as part of the Australian Sustainable Schools Initiative.
All year levels have acknowledged sustainability in their SOSE and Science units and this has greatly broadened students’ understanding and support of the topic and its implications.
