Symphonic Wind

This is the senior-most of 5 wind bands at Scotch College catering for woodwind, brass and percussion instruments. Typically this ensemble includes the most advanced players in the school and includes approximately 60 musicians. Admission is by invitation or requested audition.

Major performances* include:

• Foundation Day Concert- including the 3 day music camp in preparation.
• Autumn Concert
• Summer Prom Concert
• Scotch Bands Concert
• Annual combined concert with Blackburn HS Wind Symphony

*In addition there will be other performances where such opportunity arises. These may include school assemblies or performances in the wider community.
