Overview of the activities of the 1858 Football Club

There are a number of development activities supported by the 1858 Football Club. In July a group of Year 7 footballers play a match against the Victorian Metropolitan Team. And each year in May a group of Year 9 footballers are selected to travel to Adelaide to play and to spend time with the Port Power Football Club. Every second year footballers from year 10 and 11 are selected to go on a most interesting cultural and football experience to Darwin and the Tiwi Islands. The boys play a game against the Tiwi and two games in Darwin against Northern Territory Teams.
