Scotch Parents’ Association Events: Families, Spring and Exams President’s Column

Welcome back to our final Term and second issue of the Events Torch for the year.

Family Day is upon us. With a meld of sports, creative arts, activities for the boys and displays from the Scotch Parents’ Association and OSCA, it is a day for us all to enjoy. Many Clubs and groups are changing over personnel in preparation for next year activities. Family Day is a great time to have a look at Auxiliaries and see which you may be interested in joining.  Thanks to Kate Paterson, her organising team and the myriad of volunteer parents who support this event.

Term 4 also heralds examination time and at home we seem to be trading music, drama and sports for books. We wish our VCE students of 2008 all the best in their preparation and as parents we encourage and support all the boys in their academic endeavours.

The Scotch Parents’ Association would also like to welcome the new Scotch caterer, LAPG Education, and thank Spotless and their many staff who have had such a long association with the School. In the pages following is an outline of the events to come, consider them as an opportunity to enjoy each other’s company.
