Scotch College

Welcome to the first ‘Events only’ edition of the Torch!

This year we have added two 'Events Only' editions to allow your hard working Clubs, Auxiliaries and Year Level Representatives to give you information about upcoming events on a more regular basis.

The Torch Newsletter is the Scotch Parents¹ Association¹s primary method of communication with parents and I would like to thank Nada Ross from the Publications Office, Elissa McCallum our Torch editor and SPA Vice-President Barb Hurley who co-ordinates our Year Level Representatives in making our Torch Newsletters a reality.

Thank you to all parents who have supported our activities by their attendance. By being involved you develop friendships within and across year levels, discover other opport-unities that may suit your son as well as assisting the School to support your son in a variety of ways. Term 2 has been busy.

Winter sports, drama and music are in full swing and it has been tremendous to see so many parents enjoying the various events around the School. I hope you and your family will find time to enjoy the mid-year break but before you head out to various destinations look through the functions in these pages of the Torch and assist the organisers by getting your RSVP in before you go!
