How to get Information about activities

• The Torch: Is the Scotch Parents’ Association news bulletin and is produced by the SPA and posted ten times per year (includes two ‘Events’ only editions). The ‘eTorch’ is also available for download on the Learning Point (login and Our Community/Torch Newsletters).

• Please return the Request for Electronic Torch form if you would like to receive an email instead of a mailed copy of the Torch newsletter.

• Learning point: Parents are given a username and password. Parents can log in to gain information about their sons’ progress, homework, sporting, music and services schedule.

SPA advice and support

Year Level Representatives and the SPA are available for advice about auxiliaries and opportunities in the School.

What if my sonŐs activity isnŐt here?

Use the Teacher-in-Charge: The SPA has auxiliaries associated with only a few of the numerous programs and activities associated with the School. Often the Teacher-in-Charge of an activity needs support intermittently and may ask parents. By introducing yourself and offering help you may find there is already an activity that you could assist in.

Use OSCA: There are other Clubs associated with OSCA. Information is available through the OSCA link on the website. Clubs encourage Scotch Family members to join in:

There are many other clubs at the School such as Astronomy Club, chess, SCUBA, surf lifesaving to mention a few which are offered to students.
