Where Do Funds From The Swap Shop Go?

Surplus funds from Swap Shop operations support the following areas:

  1. Scotch Scouts, in recognition of the formation of Swap Shop by the Scout Auxiliary
  2. Small groups with limited fundraising ability
  3. Projects which have the potential to benefit a wide range of students (and meet the broader educational goals of students)
  4. Equipment in preference to staffing needs
  5. Disadvantaged students identified by the Principal, in particular the Indigenous Students Support Fund.
  6. Projects and charities already assessed and supported by the school´s broader giving program

Funding requests are directed through the Swap Shop President and are commonly for less than $3000.
