Ken Field Art Show 2009

The 2009 Ken Field Art Show will be held again over Family Day Weekend this year, in the Keith Humble Auditorium at Scotch College.

Late Afternoon, Newhaven Vic by Bob Wade (’49)

We have been successful in attracting the support of some of Australia’s leading artists, including Robert Wade OAM (’49), Ben Shearer, Paul Margocsy, Anthony Day, Gordon Fitchett (’70) and others. We are also exhibiting glass pieces created by Philip Stokes (’87) and Kristin McFarlane.

Opening Night - Cocktail Party

The show will open with a cocktail party on Friday 9 October at 6.30pm. The cost for the evening will be $20 per person. Purchases may be made on the night, prior to the exhibition being open to the public on Saturday 10 October which is the school’s athletics day. I hope you will take advantage of this invitation to enjoy viewing the art and making your early purchases.

Proceeds from the Ken Field Art Show will be channelled to the Foundation’s Ken Field Fund which supports the introduction of new and innovative programs to the existing visual and performing arts curriculum in both Senior and Junior School.
