Annual Giving Program scales new heights

The 2006 Scotch College Annual Giving program has scaled new heights, totalling $160,000 with still four months to go. The School and the Old Scotch Collegians’ Association are indebted to all who have supported the program.

All Old Boys who have supported the program are listed in the OSCA Annual Report, and a list of all other members of the Scotch Family supporting the program accompanies this article. (Donors listed are those who had contributed prior to 1 July.)

The Annual Giving Program – which is critically important for the School as it pursues its educational objectives – provides an avenue for every member of the Scotch Family to provide the School with financial support. School fees support the recurrent school budget, while the Annual Giving program and the Scotch College Foundation raise funds for bursaries, scholarships and physical developments at the School.

This year the Annual Giving program focused on raising funds for a much-needed renovation of the Chapel, the continuing development of the School’s Archives and Museum, new playground equipment for the Junior School, and new protective sails for the Senior School tuckshop area.

There is still time for you to support the 2006 Annual Giving program. Please find a giving form enclosed with this edition of Great Scot. The students of today and tomorrow will greatly appreciate your support.
