Scotch’s Director of Development, Dr Alan Watkinson, has been elected National President of the Association of Alumni and Development Professionals in Education Australasia (ADAPE) for the next two years.
The ADAPE is the only national organisation catering for all areas of development work in education across Australia and New Zealand, and has more than 600 members drawn from the secondary and tertiary sectors. Dr Watkinson has served on ADAPE’s national council as the representative for the Victorian–Tasmanian chapter, of which he is currently Vice-President and Treasurer, since 2003. His election as President recognises his achievements in development work at Scotch as well as across Australia.
The Scotch family congratulates Dr Watkinson on this honour and wishes him well for his Presidency, which includes the biennial ADAPE conference to be held in September this year, in Auckland.
