Daniel Forbes and Daniel Wolfe
Daniel Forbes’ remarkable season, in which he scored more than 450 runs at an average of almost 50, has earned him the coveted H I Cohen Trophy award for 2006–07, as the most outstanding cricketer in the 1st XI
Daniel has signed his name in a beautifully bound book which records the names of all H I Cohen Trophy winners since 1920. Highly valued by our cricketers, the Cohen Trophy is calculated using a system that gives points for achievement in all aspects of the game.
Brilliant with the bat, Daniel was also a most successful bowler, taking over 20 wickets. His outstanding season was also rewarded by his selection in the APS combined team. Daniel Parisi and the captain of cricket, Daniel Wolfe, were also selected in this team, with Daniel Wolfe named as captain.
It has been a memorable and successful season for the 1st XI, finishing second in the premiership. Congratulations to all associated with this team and especially to Daniel Forbes for winning the Cohen trophy.Scotch College: ABN 86 852 826 445 ACN 005 650 395 CRICOS 00624A (Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students)
