All members of the Scotch Family are warmly invited to attend the Cordner–Eggleston Cup football match between Scotch College and Melbourne Grammar on Friday 7 August at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. This match represents the 150th anniversary of football competition between the two schools, as well as the 150th anniversary of the first receoded match of Australian Rules football played between the two schools in August 1858.

The game will commence at 3.55 pm and will be the curtain raiser to the Melbourne vs Geelong AFL match, which will commence at 6.30 pm.

All former Scotch College footballers, coaches and officials are warmly invited to attend the Scotch College – Melbourne Grammar 150th Anniversary of Football Celebratory Dinner at the Palladium, Crown Casino.

A combined Scotch College – Melbourne Grammar ‘Team of the History’ will be announced on the night.

All former players from all XVIIIs are encouraged to attend. Year Group leaders have been installed to assist with the co-ordination of this event. You will be seated at a table with other Scotch footballers from your year group and your table will be positioned next to the corresponding Melbourne Grammar table. All 1st XVIII and 2nd XVIII former players should receive an invitation in the mail during June (records only exist for 1st and 2nd XVIIIs). If you are a former 1st or 2nd XVIII player and do not receive an invitation please contact Robbie Gustke (details above). All others (non 1st or 2nd XVIII footballers, coaches, umpires, officials) should contact Robbie Gustke for an invitation.
