A beautiful day for competition bowls

On a beautiful, sunny March day the Old Scotch Bowls Club competed in the annual Associated Public Schools’ Old Boys Tournament at Kew Heights Recreation Club. Sixteen of our players, in four teams, played some high-standard games, but despite the enjoyment of competing, our bowlers did not achieve a placing in the final scores, although they had won the event quite recently, and were second last year.

John Jeffreys, President of OSCA, together with others Old Boy association presidents, were our guests for lunch, and John joined the team after lunch for a photograph. GS
