Welcome to 'Club 150' news

'Club 150'

We hope this will be a regular feature of Great Scot between now and 6 October, 2001 - the day Scotch College officially celebrates its 150th Anniversary.

You can be part of 'Club 150'

We would welcome your participation in 'Club 150'. Already, nearly a quarter of our target of 2001 members has been met. Just under 500 people have made an early commitment to assisting the 150th Anniversary by providing support to the planning of events in 2001 and to the creation of a special 'Endowment

150' Fund. Joining the club is easy. Just complete the application form in this edition of Great Scot or contact one of the committee making 'Club 150' happen.

'Club 150' events - helping to build the spirit for the Anniversary!

The launch of 'Club 150' was a great success and resulted in more than 200 new members. Now we are planning a winter warm-up event for members on Thursday, 19 August, 1999.

Winter warm-up event for 'Club 150'

Taking 'Club 150' for a run at Melbourne-City Land Rover should be a night to remember. Members can enjoy a bush theme with bush music and at the same time indulge their passion for 'off-road' vehicles. Those attending will be able to witness the 'demo track' in action at Melbourne-City Land Rover.

The address for the night is : 351 Ingles Street, Cnr Lorimer and Ingles Streets, Port Melbourne.

Come as you are!!

Members wishing to attend should note that the event runs between 7.00 to 9.30pm and because some people will come from the office....please join in the fun in your office gear. If you prefer to change, then 'comfortable-casual' is fine too. Winter 'warm-up' numbers strictly limited!!

As space is limited, please be quick to ensure your place at the winter 'warm-up' for 'Club 150'. Bookings can be made by calling Tania Castles at Peter Crook's office : 9810 4300

What else will I get by joining 'Club 150'?
