Scuba Club recovers

The club has recovered from a long hibernation period and at a recent meeting of keen young Old Boys a committee was elected, namely Graeme Boykett ('61) (staff) - was re-elected as President; John Duck ('96) - Secretary; Mike Raisbeck ('96) - Treasurer, David Hillgemann ('96) - Diving Officer; Alastair Philp ('97) - Training Officer.

A 'Mission Statement' was agreed upon 'To enable Old Scotch Collegians, Scotch Collegians and their families to participate in SCUBA diving in a safe and social environment.'

We will be organising dives in various locations according to experience, and a timetable will be worked out during August, depending on the amount of interest shown.

At this stage we will not be training anyone, but again, if the demand is there we will consider it.

If anyone would like to join and they are currently qualified, please send your details to John Duck, C/o OSCA Office, Morrison Street, Hawthorn, 3122 and John will contact you.
