New OSCA Council

The OSCA President’s Night was held in the Cardinal Pavilion on Monday 8 November. The night incorporated the OSCA Annual General Meeting and once the formalities were over the fun begun. Campbell McComas portrayed some of his favourite characters and toasted the spirit that is Scotch. Former OSCA Presidents Laurie Muir, Pat Wood, Bill Philip, Ian Manson, Michael Robinson, Bill Tingate, Geoff Bowden, Geoff McCracken, Rob Logie-Smith, Michael Stillwell and Rob Wilson (pictured on p43) were in attendance to welcome John Craven into their ranks. Bob Welch was elected President of OSCA for the coming year and Bob’s passion and enthusiasm will be a huge asset to the School and the Association in 2005. Michael Sim was acknowledged for his 14 years of outstanding service on the OSCA Council. Michael’s skills will not be lost to Scotch as he now is a member of the School Council. Rob Wilson was also farewelled from Council. Rob has given eight years of service to the Old Boy community and his sound judgement and marketing perspective will be missed. John Batchelor leaves for Hong Kong and John Field’s international business commitments see him step down from Council. We thank them for their contribution.

Peter is the National Marketing Manager of the Ducor Group, which is a national print and logistics management business.

Simon Hosking has been involved with the Old Scotch Football Club and is currently working at the National Australia Bank. When he is not down at the Old Scotch Football Club, he enjoys watching his beloved Bombers in action.

Peter was involved with the Koomerang Ski Club for many years and served as President. He has subsequently been nominated as a Life Member of the Club. More recently he has served on the Cardinal Club Committee,a club of which he was also president. Peter formed a company called Ctam Pty Ltd in 1997 which develops high-speed data encryption devices. Away from works he like sailing and skiing.
