Cordner Eggleston Cup

The Cordner-Eggleston Cup is awarded annually for perpetual competition between Melbourne Grammar School and Scotch College. These schools first played Australian Rules Football on 7 August, 1858, the first recorded game.

In 2001 the game was played at the MCG as part of Scotch's 150th celebrations. There was the unveiling of a statue commemorating the first game of Australian Rules played. The statue is a gift to the people of Victoria from Scotch College and Melbourne Grammar

Northern Territory and Tiwi Island Tour

Tours to the Northern Territory and Tiwi Islands have been an outstanding success in both a football and cultural sense with our boys playing football at a level higher than they had experienced before. Students and staff also experienced the culture of the delightful people of Bathurst Island who overwhelmed the Scotch group with their enthusiasm and hospitality.
