    Principal’s Message

I am delighted to introduce this new, weekly e-newsletter for Prep to Year 12 parents and carers. This all-new version of The Torch will be sent every Thursday afternoon, and contains all important announcements for the following week.

Consolidating all communications from the school into one newsletter will hopefully not only declutter your inbox, but keep you better informed and connected with your son’s activities and opportunities available to him. To avoid missing important information, please ensure you read the dedicated year-group sections, as well as the important announcements below. Weekend sports fixtures are also now included in this newsletter.

This new version of The Torch replaces Primary Matters in the Junior School and the old version of The Torch in the Senior School. Over the coming year, we will continue to bring further enhancements to the way we communicate at Scotch, with key platforms such as our parent portal and the Scotch website also being redeveloped.

I hope you will find this all-new version of The Torch useful and informative. Should you have any feedback or queries please contact the Communications team on communications@scotch.vic.edu.au

    Important Announcements

    Callantina Road Traffic

We recognise the continued frustration with the way in which traffic flows along Callantina Road. The school is working on new measures to improve the situation, whilst continuing to request support from Boroondara Council. In the interim, please consider avoiding Callantina Road at busy times, parking elsewhere and walking where possible. Please ensure you follow the  road rules that are in place to keep pedestrians safe and traffic flowing.

    Parent Name Badges

As Dr Scott Marsh shared in his message last week, at vero eos et accusamus et iusto odio dignissimos ducimus qui blanditiis praesentium voluptatum deleniti atque corrupti quos dolores et quas molestias excepturi sint occaecati cupiditate non provident, similique sunt in culpa qui officia deserunt mollitia animi, id est laborum et dolorum fuga. If you do not wish to receive a name badge, please submit your request to communications@scotch.vic.edu.au by Monday, 27 July.
