Step 1 > Complete the Scholarship Application Form

Academic Excellence, General Excellence and Boarding Scholarships

Scholarship applications for 2026 are now closed. 

 

First Nations Scholarships
First Nations Scholarships are accepted any time. To apply, please complete the First Nations Scholarship Application Form.

Step 2 > Academic Testing

Applicants apply to sit the scholarship test at Scotch College. Academic testing covers a range of disciplines including General Reasoning and Problem Solving, Mathematics Achievement and Reasoning, Reading Comprehension and Written Expression.

Step 3 > Invitation to Interview

Shortlisted applicants will then be invited to an interview with the Principal, Director of Extension Studies and/or other nominated delegates. Interviews will be held either in person or via video conference, depending on the applicant’s location.

Step 4 > Offer of Scholarship

Shortlisted candidates will be contacted. Please note that test results cannot be released to families.

Parents of successful applicants will be sent a Letter of Offer via email. To formally accept, parents must confirm their acceptance of the scholarship and return the signed terms and conditions.

Parents of unsuccessful applicants will be notified via email once the scholarship allocation process has been completed. Unsuccessful applicants are welcome to re-apply in future years, where eligibility criteria are met.
